How to play

   Listen to the drums

   Attempt one plays the drum track on its own. Play it as many times as you like — replays are free.

2. 2

   Guess or skip

   Type a title or artist and pick from the list, so spelling never costs you. Skip is right next to Guess, and counts as a guess.

3. 3

   A miss adds an instrument

   Every wrong guess or skip permanently unlocks the next layer, so the song gets easier as your score gets worse.

4. 4

   Solve as early as you can

   Six attempts, six layers. Solving on the drums alone is the best possible result; missing all six is a loss.

Every song is re-performed from scratch as six separate parts, so nothing you hear is a recording. After the round ends the full mix plays and you can tap any instrument to mute or solo it — a quick lesson in how the track is put together.
